Welcome to Kaleidoscope Holistic Counselling
At Kaleidoscope Holistic Counselling, I offer a calm and steady space for adults who may look fine on the outside yet feel tired, anxious, lonely or quietly overwhelmed inside. Sometimes nothing dramatic has happened, and yet life feels heavy and hard to make sense of. It can be difficult to find a place where you can bring all of this without feeling judged or rushed.
The name “Kaleidoscope” reflects how I see people and their inner worlds. Like the shifting patterns in a kaleidoscope, our emotions, memories, relationships, cultures and bodies all move and change over time. When things feel confusing or painful, it can be hard to see the whole picture on your own. In counselling, we take time to look more gently and closely at these patterns together.
My approach is relational, psychodynamic and person centred. This means I pay attention to your present struggles as well as the earlier experiences and expectations that may still shape how you relate to yourself and others today. I am interested in how grief, belonging and identity live in the body and in our relationships, and in how people find ways to keep going even when they feel lost or unseen.
I work online from Edinburgh and offer counselling across the UK in both English and Mandarin. You are welcome to bring your mixed feelings, questions and contradictions. Here, we begin from where you are, and move at a pace that feels safe enough for you. My hope is that this space can help you feel a little less alone with what you carry, and support you in living in a way that feels more truthful and bearable.
